 Tai Chi and Qi Gong

TAI GONG (Tai Chi with Qigong-breathing exercises)

Qi = vitality, energy, life force, Gong = practice, cultivate, refine;
Qi Gong = to cultivate and refine through practice one's vitality or life force.

Based on both Taiji and Chinese Medicine, the Tai Gong breathing exercise works to redirect, unblock and balance out Qi (energy) movement throughout the entire body (using existing internal pathways) and internal organs for both wellness and healing.

Through circular motions, Tai Gong exercise serves to improve Qi flow, re-channel Qi, mobilize Qi, increase energy levels, strengthen organs, ligaments and muscles and improves the transportation of Oxygen, energy and nutrients for proper healing and body function.

The primary mechanism that is triggered by the practice of Qigong is a spontaneous balancing and enhancing of the natural healing resources in the human system. Over thousands of years millions of people have benefited from these practices believing that improving the function of Qi (the life force) maintains health and heals disease

 Tai Chi and Qigong are the exercise of the mind and body, having shown in research to reduce anxiety, depression, blood pressure, back pain, and other chronic pain conditions. They help to boost the immune system, improve oxygenation, energy and nutrients transportation, respiratory circulatory function, burn calories, drastically improve balance, provide cardiovascular benefits, provide powerful stress releasing tools, and prolong both quality and quantity of life.  As the Time magazine article in August 2002 stated, ” Tai Chi Is the Perfect Exercise…. The slow-motion martial art builds strength, agility and, best of all, balance”
